Roof

The roof project is predicted to be complete in February 2025. However, the contractors are hopeful that, with some continued dry weather, it may well be complete by the Christmas holidays.

Heating

TThe KS1 heating is being replaced as part of a capital works programme. Year 2 now has new heating, and the KS1 hall is in the process of being replaced. Assuming our current heating wil continue to be effective for the rest of this winter season, the rest of the project (Year R, 1 and the library) will be replaced in summer 2025.

Refurbishments

We continue to refurbish and improve the building as and when we can. Year R, 1 and 3/4 have new toilets. Year 2 and Year 5/6 are next on the list.

We have removed our ICT suite now that we have banks of iPads and Chromebooks. This space has been transformed into a versatile intervention space – bifold doors allow it to be one large room or two smaller rooms depending on the size needed at any one time.

We have a new ELSA space in KS2, which has also allowed us to create a ‘pod’ – ideal for group work or meetings.
