Oakwood’s curriculum is a child’s entire experience from the moment they first arrive when they are four, to the moment they leave to continue their journey.

We believe that our children and our community are the drivers for our curriculum.

Our curriculum is ambitious and rooted in the expectations of the National Curriculum; it takes account of the needs of all learners, the interests of the children, the expertise of our teachers and other staff, but always meets the statutory requirements for a broad and balanced approach. It is planned and sequenced so that knowledge and skills build on what has been taught before.
